Can using diet shakes and pills to lose weight make you infertile? Or will it not effect anything as long as I get the right Nutrients that I need?

I'm trying to have a baby but because I'm plus size its very difficult. So I'm going to lose weight by dieting and using shakes to get what I need.
I'm concerned that it will effect my chances negatively.
